Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Barbara Chillious's case lately—so sad to know it's still unsolved after all these years. One thing that's been on my mind is the role of community involvement in cases like this. It's often the smallest details that can crack open a case, and those details might be things people didn't realize were important at the time.
I read that the local authorities and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are making efforts to keep the case in the public's eye. It's a huge ask, but if anyone between 2008 and 2009 remembers something suspicious around Douglas Avenue, even if it seems insignificant or too distant in past memory, it might be worth mentioning to the authorities! People often forget how little pieces of information can piece together into the big picture.
It's tough, but hopefully with the community's help, they can find justice for Barbara and bring some peace to her family. They deserve answers after all these years.
Anyone else have thoughts on how communities can better assist with these cold cases? Curious to hear what you all think.

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Barbara Chillious’s case lately, and something that struck me is the power of community involvement. It’s been so long since that tragic day back in 2009, when she was found at her home on Douglas Avenue, but I do believe there’s still hope. It’s pretty inspiring to see how communities can come together, especially in difficult times, to support each other and seek justice. I remember reading that the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation keeps these unsolved cases on their radar, but what more can we do to help? There's strength in numbers, and maybe by keeping Barbara’s story alive, we can spark a memory or detail in someone’s mind that could make all the difference. I’m curious if anyone else has seen other communities successfully rally around a cold case like this? Or maybe you have ideas on how we could help generate more attention? Let's keep this conversation going for Barbara and her loved ones. Sending love and strength to her family and friends. We're all hoping for answers. Stay safe and vigilant, everyone.
