I heard about Diane Lynn Brooks' case recently, and something that caught my attention was the tattoo between her thumb and forefinger—does anyone have any idea what it might have been? Sometimes tattoos can have personal meaning or connections that might provide a clue about where someone might have gone or what was important to them. Even small details like that could help jog someone’s memory if they’ve seen her or knew her back then. Her being an artist possibly? I know tattoos are more common now, but back in '95, maybe it stood out more. Does anyone know if there were any specific places in Austin or Baton Rouge where she might've hung out to sketch or paint? Trying to brainstorm ways to keep this conversation alive and maybe help her family find some answers. Any thoughts or insights would be much appreciated!

Has anyone looked into the possibility of Diane contacting people from her past? I read that she might have been experiencing suicidal thoughts around the time she vanished. It makes me wonder if she might have reached out to old friends or acquaintances from Baton Rouge. Sometimes people connect with their past when they're going through something tough. There might be someone out there who saw or heard from her around that time but didn’t think much of it. Has law enforcement checked phone records or gotten in touch with people she used to know in Baton Rouge? It seems like a potential lead worth investigating.
