Anyone else find the whole situation with Nancy pretty strange? I’ve been following Earl's case for a while, and her actions just don’t sit right with me. I mean, she stops cooperating with the investigation and then suddenly claims she saw Earl 13 years later in Denver? And what’s with the Australia bit that turned out to be false? ? The vehicle's connection with Duane Arvid Schmidt adds another twist that's hard to overlook. It's puzzling how someone can just disappear and leave such a tangled web behind. Would love to hear what everyone else thinks about Nancy’s involvement or if she’s just confused about the whole ordeal.

I've been following Earl's case for a while now, and one detail that really caught my attention is the involvement of Duane Arvid Schmidt. This whole accident in Globe, Arizona seems like such a pivotal moment. How did Schmidt end up with Nancy's truck? It was always said to be primarily driven by Earl. Is there a connection that investigators might have missed or couldn't pursue further because Schmidt didn't cooperate? It's frustrating knowing he's taken whatever secrets he had to the grave.
Also, why drive so far south, and why doesn't there seem to be more info on Schmidt's association with Earl? With Schmidt deceased, do we know if they looked into if there was any prior connection between these two men? Makes me wonder if this was more than just a random car theft or joyride...

Has anyone else looked into what might have happened with the Toyota pickup truck? The connection between Earl and Duane Arvid Schmidt is so baffling. It seems odd that Nancy’s truck, primarily driven by Earl, ended up with a completely unrelated fugitive in Globe, Arizona. Does anyone know if there were any sightings of Earl or interactions that Duane might have had with him before taking the truck? The refusal to answer questions makes it even more suspicious. It's almost like there's a missing link here that could shine some light on what happened to Earl. Maybe someone from the Globe area remembers something?
