I was talking to a friend who remembered seeing something about Zola Combs's case a while back and recalled that she used to volunteer a lot in the community. It got me thinking—wasn’t she involved in some local charity events at the time she went missing? Sometimes these events attract a lot of different people and might have been an opportunity for someone to approach her. Has anyone else heard anything similar or know if this angle was explored further? It seems like those activities might have brought in outsiders who weren’t familiar faces around Hazard, which could be important. Just curious if anyone knows more about her work in the community around that time.

I'm curious if anyone else has looked into Zola Combs's case closely. While her disappearance is certainly puzzling, I find the timing and location particularly interesting. Hazard, Kentucky, in the mid-'90s wasn't exactly known for being high-crime, which makes me wonder about her usual routines and social connections during that period. Did she have any particular habits or meetups that could point to a specific area or individual? I've read a few discussions that suggest potential health issues might have played a role, but wasn't there any CCTV or witness accounts from the shops she frequented on the day she vanished? It's strange that someone so well-known within her community could just disappear without any clear trace or witness observations. Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts or additional info on this aspect!
