Hey everyone, I've been following Leroy Chittenden’s case for a while, and one thing that always puzzled me is the lack of any clues from his daily routine. From what I gather, Leroy was a creature of habit. I wonder if the neighborhood wasn't thoroughly canvassed, especially the usual places he frequented. Did the authorities look into his habits in detail? Like where exactly he'd go for coffee or if he had any regular appointments? Sometimes these routines might provide a missing piece of the puzzle. If anyone has insights or theories about this angle, I’d love to discuss it further. It's baffling how someone can just vanish without a trace when they stick to such regular patterns. Thoughts?

I'm really curious about why Leroy Chittenden's case didn't get more media attention back then. From what I've read, cases like his usually get a fair amount of coverage, especially in smaller communities. Fort Edward isn’t exactly a big city, so you'd think this would have been a bigger deal locally. I wonder if anyone has thoughts about how coverage might have helped or what the media climate was like around 1996 in that area. Sometimes it just takes one persistent journalist to unearth new leads or keep a missing person's case in the public eye. Does anyone know if there were any attempts to get national attention for his case, or was it mostly just local coverage at the time?
