I’ve been following Dat Tat Tran's case for a while, and the whole situation with the rental vehicles intrigues me. It's puzzling that he switched cars like that; it feels like it might be a key piece of the puzzle. Why rent a second car so far away from San Diego? Did he meet someone in Washington who played a part in his disappearance? Or was he just trying to throw off anyone who might be tracking him? I'm curious if anyone here has thoughts or ideas about the significance of the two rentals. Also, does anyone know if they ever checked surveillance footage from that hotel parking lot where the car was found? It could have caught something useful. It’s like there’s something right under the surface that we’re all missing...

Has anyone else found it strange how Dat Tat Tran rented that second car in Washington just a couple of days after picking up the first one in San Diego? Why make a last-minute switch like that, and how did he get all the way up to Washington so quickly? Seems like a lot of logistical issues that would need sorting out if he was planning a trip up north just for spring break. Could he have met someone along the way, or was it part of a larger plan we don't know about? With the second car being abandoned for months, I'm curious if anyone's looked into whether he might have stayed at the hotel for any period. Maybe someone there noticed him or remembers seeing him. Anyone else think it's worth diving into the records or guest logs around that time?
