Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into Kai Aslak Smaaland's case and something that's been on my mind is the cruise ship's security protocols back in 1997. Given how the *S.S. Norway* was docked in Miami at the time, does anyone know how stringent their security measures would have been? It seems odd that a crew member could just vanish without a trace. Were there CCTV cameras on vessels like this back then? It might help us understand how closely monitored the ship was, and if there's any possibility of footage or other security logs that might have been overlooked. I keep wondering if something small but significant got missed in those early searches. Thoughts?
