I’ve been following Larry Ardley's case for a while now, and something that sticks out to me is the location of his last sighting. Mike's Beer Barn on West Tennessee Street is a pretty busy place, especially with it being so close to FSU. It’s hard to believe no one else saw Larry or remembered anything unusual during that time, especially on a day like April 1 when pranks and jokes are common, which might make strange behavior less noticeable. Has anyone looked into whether there were any events or gatherings happening around there at the time? Maybe there are photos or videos from that night that could reveal new clues. His being a veteran and having that limp and those scars must have made him somewhat memorable. Just wondering if there's been any coordinated effort with businesses in that area to fill in some of these blanks. Thoughts?
Has anyone looked into the potential sightings of Larry around Mike’s Beer Barn on West Tennessee Street? It's interesting that this was just a month after he disappeared and so close to FSU, where there are always a lot of people around. Maybe someone on that campus or around that area saw something that didn’t seem significant at the time. There might be old college students or faculty who remember something odd from back then. Plus, with him using aliases, it could be that he was trying to blend in or hide for some reason. I hope people are still checking in that area for any leads or any old records, especially given how much construction and development Tallahassee has had over the years. Just a thought—every little detail helps.
Anyone else find it strange that Larry Joe Ardley reportedly caused a fire at his mom's house right before he vanished? I'm wondering if that incident might have triggered something deeper in him, given his schizophrenia. Fires can be traumatic, and if he felt responsible, maybe it was too much for him to handle. Plus, those aliases like "Larry Jones" and "Larry Wall" have me thinking he was trying to leave his past behind or maybe start over. Does anyone know if he had a history of using different names before the fire incident? I'm curious if that was something new or part of his pattern. It's so puzzling how he just dropped off the radar after being seen near Mike's Beer Barn. It's been so long, but I hope some new clues come to light someday.
