Has anyone else looked into James Broome’s case? I came across a mention that he might have been seen in Morristown in 2001, which really piqued my interest. I know it’s just a possible sighting, but it made me wonder why he would be there. I couldn’t find much online about what was happening in his life around the time he disappeared or those three years later. Did he have any connections to Morristown, like friends or family? It’s such a small detail, but maybe someone out there has some local insight or remembers something from back then. Would love to hear if anyone else has dug into this angle or has thoughts.

I was digging through some old cases and came across James Garfield Broome's missing person report from 1998. One thing that caught my attention was the potential sighting of him in Morristown in 2001. Considering Morristown is a smallish community, I wonder, has anyone ever looked into whether he had any connections there? Friends or family he might have visited? It seems like an angle worth exploring, especially since no concrete leads came out of that sighting. It's so baffling how someone can just vanish, and yet, there might be people who saw something and don't realize it. If anyone from that area remembers anything unusual from that time, it might be worth reaching out to authorities.

Hey all, I've been following James Garfield Broome's case for a while, and something that's got me curious is the possible sighting in Morristown back in 2001. Does anyone know what led people to think it might have been him there? It seems odd that there was a reported sighting three years after he disappeared, but nothing solid came out of it. Does anyone have insights on how these things get reported and investigated? It's frustrating to see the trail go cold despite potential leads. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
