Has anyone else noticed the detail about Benito wearing a Tisma Machinery Corporation shirt when he vanished? I did some digging, and this company specializes in packaging machinery. Could there be some connection there, possibly through his job or someone he worked with? It just seems odd to me that both Benito and his son disappeared without a trace, and no one has come forward with any solid leads even after all these years. Maybe someone from the local area who knows more about the company or its employees around that time could shed some light? Just trying to think outside the box here, because this case has been cold for too long. What are your thoughts, folks?
I was reading about Benito and little Jose Velasquez, and something that stood out to me was how distinctive Benito's appearance must have been. A mole on the nose and a silver crown on one of his front teeth aren't everyday features you find on just anyone. It makes me wonder, in such a close-knit community like Calexico, wouldn’t someone have noticed if they’d seen him around since their disappearance? It just seems odd that no sightings or tips have led to anything substantial all these years. I'm curious if authorities ever considered the possibility of them starting fresh somewhere new, or if something else entirely might have happened. Anyone with more insights into this?
