Does anyone else find it strange that Lorenzo Chivers' vehicle was found several blocks away from the moving facility at an apartment complex? It makes me wonder if he had some sort of connection or reason to be in that area unrelated to work. Could it be possible that someone led him there, or was he trying to escape from whatever happened at Tuff's Moving? I think this is a piece of the puzzle that could really provide some insight into the timeline of events. If the cops haven’t looked closely at who lived in that apartment complex back in '99, it might be worth reconsidering. Sometimes the smallest details can break a case wide open. Just hoping someone out there remembers something.
Hey everyone, I've been deep-diving into the Skiba case and something that keeps bugging me is the location of the vehicles. Lorenzo's van was found several blocks away at an apartment complex, and Paul's vehicle ended up in a parking lot in Denver. It just feels so calculated, right? Like, whoever did this went out of their way to spread out the evidence, maybe hoping to throw off investigators? I wonder if the placement of the vehicles was meant to send a message or if it was just a way to buy time. Has anyone else looked into the patterns of dumped vehicles in other cases? Could this suggest more than one person was involved, or someone familiar with the area? Thoughts?
Hey everyone, I came across this case about Sarah Skiba, her dad Paul, and Lorenzo Chivers that’s been haunting me. One thing that intrigues me is the locations where their vehicles were found. Paul's car ended up in an apartment complex near Arkansas St in Denver, which is a bit of a distance from the moving facility. I'm curious if this indicates someone trying to mislead or throw off the investigation? Does anyone have insight into whether these specific locations could point toward a known associate or a particular lead that was followed up on? Also, were there surveillance cameras around these areas back then? It seems odd that two vehicles tied to the victims were just abandoned like that. Any thoughts?
