Hey everyone, I recently started digging into Janice Faye Benson’s disappearance, and I couldn’t help but wonder about the attention (or lack thereof) her case received back when it happened in 2000. I mean, it's such a long time ago, but with the little details we have, it seems like it might have been brushed aside in the shadow of bigger cases. Does anyone have any insight into what media coverage was like for her back then, or if there was anything else happening during that time in Fort Worth that could have contributed to her case not getting more limelight? I just feel like the more we can understand the context from back then, the better chance we have at piecing things together now. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Hi everyone, I’ve been diving into Janice Faye Benson’s case, and something that caught my attention is the scar descriptions in the reports. It’s mentioned she has a cross-shaped scar on her back and another on her left forearm. I feel like these details might hold more significance than we realize. Could the scars be from an accident, a surgery, or is there a possibility they relate to her disappearance somehow? I’m curious if anyone has thoughts on whether these details were followed up on in the investigation or if anyone else thinks they might play a role in understanding what happened to her?
