Hey everyone, I came across Erik Heard's case recently and can't stop thinking about the witness situation. It’s so disheartening that several people reportedly heard the gunshots that night, yet no one called the police until hours later. ? I can’t imagine the fear or uncertainty they must have felt in that moment, but I'm wondering if anyone has insights into why there was such a delay in reporting the gunshots. Could it have been fear of retaliation, or perhaps they didn’t realize the severity of the situation? I genuinely feel for Erik’s family trying to cope with this, knowing there might’ve been a chance to catch the shooter sooner. If you’re in Cleveland and have any thoughts or know someone who may have been in the area back then, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Every piece of information helps. My heart is with Erik’s loved ones as they search for answers. Stay safe, everyone.

I’ve been following the Erik Heard case, and one thing that’s truly puzzling is the delay in reporting the gunshots. It's hard to understand how a neighborhood could hear such a violent event and no one calls the police right away. Could this mean the shots weren’t reported because people were scared or perhaps there's more to the environment of that area? It’s deeply frustrating knowing that this lapse may have set back the investigation by hours. Erik deserved so much more from his community. I genuinely hope someone who knows something finds the courage to come forward. My heart goes out to his family; they deserve answers and justice for Erik.
