I’ve been following the Deborah Jean Moore case and one thing that stands out to me is how distinctive her tattoos are, especially the Harley Davidson emblem on her arm. I feel like tattoos can be such a crucial detail in identifying someone who might otherwise go unnoticed in these situations. Has anyone else thought about how someone with her tattoos might be remembered, yet still, we haven’t seen any major leads based on them? It seems like tattoos would be memorable for people they might’ve encountered, even after so many years. I wonder if there are any efforts to spread images or descriptions of her tattoos more widely to jog people’s memories. In missing persons cases, it feels like every detail counts and hers seem hard to overlook. If anyone has ideas or knows if there’s been a focus on her tattoos in the media, I’d love to hear about it.
