Has anyone dug into the weather conditions on the night Yolanda and Alejandro disappeared? Sometimes environmental factors can play a significant role in a case. I remember reading about other cases where extreme weather kind of altered the timeline or even erased some traces. Was there any bad weather in Calexico around January 11, 2001, that could have affected potential witnesses or led them to stay indoors? It's such a tiny detail but might explain the lack of sightings or evidence. Since this is a border town, I'm also curious if any weather factors might have hindered search efforts early on.
