Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about the camera McDonald had with her when she disappeared— a Minolta Riva Zoom 90. It’s such a specific detail, and I wonder if it could play a part in solving her case. I mean, from what I understand, these cameras weren’t exactly uncommon, but they did capture moments on film. Is there any chance she might have taken photos on the hike before she turned back? If someone eventually found that camera, perhaps they unknowingly have those pictures and they’re sitting, undeveloped, in someone's collection of old cameras or photo rolls. It's also curious since nothing was missing from the vehicle, including any other of her belongings. Maybe checking around any pawn shops or flea markets in the area during that time couldn’t hurt? I know cameras are small threads in the bigger tapestry, but sometimes, the smallest thread can unravel the whole thing if pulled just right. Thoughts?

Has anyone come across any details about that Minolta camera McDonald was carrying when she disappeared? It's such a specific item – Minolta Riva Zoom 90 with the serial number 40907425. I can't help but wonder if it might have turned up somewhere, even if pawned off or sold secondhand. Considering it was 2001, digital cameras weren't as common, so that film camera could hold some significance. Maybe someone stumbled upon photos she took without realizing their importance? It's a long shot, but stranger things have happened. Curious if anyone has come across similar cases where items like cameras turned out to be critical evidence or led to new leads. Let's keep searching for answers!
