I can't stop thinking about how Melvin "Frenchie" Scott was such a cornerstone in his community, and it's devastating that someone so well-loved could be taken away in such a brutal manner. Knowing he was found near Cleveland Avenue makes me wonder if anyone driving through the area that night might have seen something—a car speeding away, someone acting suspiciously, anything at all. I hope those who knew Frenchie can find some solace and strength in each other while grappling with such a huge loss. I also really hope that someone who might know even the slightest detail has the courage to come forward and help provide the answers his family desperately needs. It’s so sad to think about all the moments lost and the void left in his community without him. Sending all my thoughts and prayers to his loved ones.
Hi everyone,

I’ve been following the case of Melvin Scott, and something that’s been on my mind is the location where it happened. It's concerning that this took place near Cleveland Avenue, a spot that’s generally busy, which makes the lack of eyewitness accounts puzzling.
Does anyone know if there were any security cameras in the area back then? With so many businesses and traffic, it seems like there would be some footage available. It's difficult to comprehend how someone could get away with something so violent in what seems like such an openly accessible area.
It's a sharp reminder of how important it is for businesses and public spaces to have working security cameras. They can be the key to unlocking cases like this and providing justice to victims and their families.
I truly hope we see some movement in Melvin's case. His family deserves answers, and our community should speak up if anything comes to mind.
Let’s keep spreading the word and hope someone comes forward with crucial information.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the CCTV footage angle? I've been thinking about Melvin Scott's case—such a senseless tragedy. It’s puzzling that with all the businesses and traffic near Cleveland Avenue, there isn’t more video evidence that could shed light on what happened that night. I know it might be a long shot, but sometimes even the smallest detail can be crucial. My heart goes out to his family and friends; I can’t imagine the pain of not having answers after all this time. If anyone knows more about the tech side of the investigation or has seen any updates on this, please share. Maybe there’s something that’s been overlooked that we can discuss further to help keep Melvin’s case in the public eye.
