I’ve been looking into Chanetta Ann Bennett’s case more, and I’m really curious about the tip from 2011 regarding the alleged confession. It’s strange that they didn’t find any evidence when they searched the property, but it makes me wonder if there were other locations that should have been investigated. Could there have been more than one place tied to the ex-husband? Since he’s deceased now, it feels like such a dead end, but there’s got to be more people who knew him that might recall something useful. Anyone who knew Show-Do or has local connections heard anything else about this angle? It seems like there could be more clues out there waiting to be discovered.
Does anyone have any thoughts on why it took so long for Chanetta to be reported missing? It's puzzling to me that it was over seven months before any report was made. I know her lifestyle might have meant that people didn't see her regularly, but to me, that makes it all the more pressing for those around her to take action sooner. It's also concerning how leads—like the one about the ex-husband—haven’t turned up anything concrete yet. There's so much left unresolved, and it makes me wonder if there are any overlooked details that could help push this case forward. Pine Bluff has its share of mysteries, but I truly hope this doesn’t become another cold case.
