Spotted a familiar face on a missing persons list while looking into cold cases. Morae Raquel Patten-Shephard's case has intrigued me for a while now, especially because of how little information is out there despite her being missing for over two decades. One thing I find odd is that there haven’t been any substantial updates or leads in all these years. If she really had no known medical issues and just disappeared without a trace, it makes me wonder if there’s something that was overlooked early on. Does anyone know if any private investigators have taken on her case, or if there have been attempts to re-interview people who knew her back then? Maybe someone with new details can come forward after all this time.

August 1, 2003, was a Friday, which might seem like just another day, but starting a weekend, where people could have different motives and movements, could be significant. Weekends often see increased travel, people heading out for trips, etc. Did she have any plans that day or weekend? Friends she might have been planning to visit? Or maybe she was headed out for an appointment or a meeting that wasn’t on her usual schedule? It might be a long shot, but understanding her plans or routine leading up to her disappearance could shed some light on this mystery. Maybe someone remembers something from that weekend? Any thoughts or insights folks?
