Has anyone looked into the possibility that Gene might have had a reason to stay under the radar and adopted a completely new identity? I find it strange that he wasn't reported missing for five whole years. Maybe he was trying to escape something or someone. Living under an alias isn't exactly common, especially if everything in your life is going smoothly. It'd be helpful to know a bit more about his life circumstances around 2004. Did he have any debts, or trouble that could explain this or justify any motive for disappearing on his own terms? With the lack of details, it has me wondering if there are people who knew more but aren't talking.

Does anyone else find it odd that Gene Tracy Stewart wasn't reported missing until five years after he was last seen? I mean, that’s such a long time for someone to just be off the radar, even if they were using an alias. I wonder if there were any signs before 2009 that could've hinted at his disappearance, like not showing up to family gatherings or friends noting his absence. It's mentioned that he sometimes used his brother's name—could Aaron, or anyone else in the family, have known something more about where he might be? It's curious how these things go unnoticed for so long. Also, considering he might be in Mississippi, I'm wondering if anyone local has heard whispers or rumors about someone matching his description. Keeping the hope alive that someone comes forward with new information.
