Hey everyone, I recently started looking into the case of Arthur Macon, who went missing back in 2004 from Union City, TN. It's been baffling me how someone could just vanish without a trace, especially given Arthur's disorientation episodes. One thing I keep wondering about is whether any nearby neighbors or passersby saw him the evening he disappeared. I mean, it was just after 7 PM, not too late, so people were likely around. Have there been any reports or testimonies from locals about seeing Arthur that day? Or maybe any businesses nearby with cameras that might have caught something? I think this could be a crucial angle to explore if it hasn't been thoroughly investigated yet. Thoughts or any info on this aspect of the case would be greatly appreciated!

Did anyone else hear the old rumor about Arthur Macon being spotted near the state line shortly after he went missing? I remember some chatter in the early days, but it seems like it never led anywhere solid. It just bothers me because if true, it might mean he traveled further than anyone anticipated. With his history of disorientation, I wonder how far he could have gone unnoticed. Does anyone know if this lead was ever fully debunked, or was it just another dead end? It just feels like something so random could easily get overlooked.
