Shon McAleer, 48, vanished from Clarksville, Tennessee after being released from the Montgomery County jail on October 20, 2016. His family reported him missing the next day when he failed to make contact, which they said was out of character. He is described as a white male, six feet tall, about 250 pounds, with graying hair.
McAleer was serving a 50-year sentence for three counts of armed robbery but had been paroled to serve most of his time outside jail. After he disappeared a parole violation warrant was issued; police warned he could be armed and advised the public not to approach him. Authorities also noted he might be experiencing homelessness. The Clarksville Police Department conducted searches and public appeals but reports say few leads and no significant evidence have emerged, and the case has grown cold.
If anyone knew Shon’s routines, associates, or last confirmed sightings in October 2016, please share what you remember with the Clarksville Police Department.
