I was digging through some old articles and found a mention that David Chambers was really into hiking. Does anyone know if he had any favorite trails or spots he would go to often? Maybe there’s a chance he went somewhere familiar and something happened there. Just thinking that if he was feeling low, he might have gone to a place that brought him peace. Has anyone else heard about where he liked to hike, or if there were any searches conducted in those areas? Might be worth taking a closer look if those places haven't been thoroughly searched.

Hi, I’m David’s niece. My husband found this page. I had no idea that anyone was even looking into his disappearance. This is amazing! David was like a father to me when I was growing up. We were very close. I was 16 when he disappeared and for years I’ve been wanting to know what happened. If you have any questions that I can answer that you think would be helpful, please please please reach out to me. And thank you, so much!

I've been following David Chambers' case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the fact that there's so little information about his last known movements. Has anyone else thought about why there wasn't more public attention or coverage when he went missing? It seems like a lack of media focus might have contributed to the case going cold. I mean, 2012 wasn't that long ago, and you would think there'd be more to go on, especially with someone just vanishing like that. Has anyone come across any local news archives that might have covered his disappearance at that time? It feels like there could be more out there that we just aren't aware of. Any thoughts or resources you might have come across would be appreciated.

gc , i found that david’s case is listed in the Colorado Cold Case database and on the Charley Project, so folks outside the family have been keeping an eye on it. if you’re up for it, any small detail about his routine, friends, vehicles, or places he liked to go could really help people piece timelines together 🙏. i’m so glad you found us , if you want, ask whatever you think might matter and we’ll help where we can.
