Has anyone else been following Anthony Matthews' case closely? I've been thinking a lot about his music career. It's such a tragedy that we'll never get to see what more he could have accomplished. That music video, "Lord Knows," has gained so much more meaning since his passing; it's almost like he left a part of himself for us to remember him by. I can only imagine how it feels for his family to see that video now. If there are any musicians here, do you think hearing about Anthony's passion could inspire others to create and share in his memory? Maybe there's someone out there who knows something and just needs a little nudge to come forward. Let's keep discussing and sharing until the truth comes to light for Anthony and his loved ones.
I keep thinking about Anthony “Weedie” Matthews' music video, “Lord Knows.” How many of you have seen it? There's something especially haunting knowing he poured part of himself into his music, and it now stands as one of the last creative expressions of his life. I can’t help but wonder if there’s anything in his lyrics that might hint at struggles he faced or people who could have wanted to harm him. Sometimes artists express fears or conflicts in their work, intentionally or not. If anyone here knew Anthony or has insight into his lyrics, it might be worth diving into for potential clues.
It seems like music was more than just a hobby for him—it was a part of his identity. It's incredibly sad that Anthony won't be able to watch his son, Ahmaryea, grow up and share more of his music with him. I hope justice comes for Anthony and his family so they can find some peace.
