Does anyone know if there was ever any follow-up on the security footage situation for Kennworth Eaton's disappearance? I remember reading early on that there were cameras at a few local businesses near his home, but it was unclear if investigators were able to retrieve any useful footage. Given the date he went missing, I'm curious about the condition and placement of those cameras back then. Maybe they were able to confirm his direction of travel or if anyone else was in the area around the same time. Sometimes small details like that can help jog someone's memory or reveal something new. Anyone have more info?

Does anyone else find the timeline of Kennworth Eaton's last day a bit strange? I've been piecing together what I've read from various reports, and I'm curious about what he was doing right before he was last seen. It seems like no one has a concrete itinerary for his activities on August 25, 2007. Was he running errands, visiting someone, or just taking a walk around Eastport? There’s a gap that makes me wonder if there might be someone out there who crossed paths with him and perhaps didn't realize their encounter was significant. Flyers and news reports might not have reached every possible person along his last known route, and I wonder if whoever might have crucial information isn’t aware they hold a piece of the puzzle. It feels like finding this missing part of the timeline could shed light on his sudden disappearance.

One detail that’s always puzzled me about Kennworth Eaton’s case is the area he was last seen in. Eastport is a small community, and you’d think that someone might have noticed something unusual. It’s not like a bustling city where people can easily get lost in the crowd. For such a tight-knit place, it's weird there weren’t more eyewitnesses or CCTV footage to scrutinize. I wonder if anyone stopped to consider if there might’ve been a visitor or stranger in town around that time. Sometimes someone unfamiliar can go unnoticed, and folks might not think twice about it unless pressed. Maybe Eaton crossed paths with someone who wasn’t from the area? It's strange to think about how someone could just vanish without a trace, but then again, you hear about it often in these small town cases. Keeping fingers crossed that someone in Eastport remembers something, no matter how small, that might help jog the investigation.
