I’ve been thinking a lot about Javonne Vancleaf’s case, especially the time and place this all happened. The west side of Columbus isn’t new to violence, but the idea that this was part of a night filled with multiple shootings really stands out. It’s chilling to think of all those families who got that dreaded call, knowing their loved one was hurt or worse. I wonder if there’s a connection between these incidents or if they just happened to coincide, making an already tense situation even more volatile. It must be frustrating for Javonne’s family not to have answers for so long. It feels like there must be people out there who have pieces of the puzzle and could help solve this. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. They deserve answers and some semblance of peace. If anyone in this community knows anything or has ideas on how to spread more awareness, let’s come together. Javonne deserves justice, and his family deserves to heal.
