I was recently reading up on Tanner Lane Sharp's case, and I'm curious about the maroon Saturn found in the ravine. Car stripping and vandalism might just be random, but it feels too coincidental that it happened to Tanner's car after he disappeared. Could it have been done to cover up something more sinister? I've seen similar cases where vehicles were targeted to destroy evidence. Does anyone have insight into whether investigators found anything that might indicate foul play with the vandalism, or if it's just a red herring? Sort of unsettling that we're left with more questions than answers even after all these years.
Has anyone looked into the timeline of Tanner's known movements between his last sighting in Galt and the discovery of his car in December? Considering the gap, it's puzzling to me how the vehicle ended up submerged and stripped in a ravine miles away, especially considering it was essentially hidden for months. Could he have met with foul play soon after he last talked to his family, and his car was abandoned there later on? Or is there a chance he might have willingly left his car there to throw off any search efforts? I wonder if there were any reported sightings or tips that didn't get much attention in the early days of his disappearance. It just feels like such a lengthy time frame might have allowed for something or someone slipping through the cracks. Would love to hear any thoughts or overlooked details anyone might have.
Did anyone else find it odd that Tanner's car was submerged yet stripped and vandalized? It seems like whoever did this took their time with the car. If it was just a random theft or vandalism, would they have gone to the trouble of hiding it in a ravine? It makes me wonder if someone targeted Tanner specifically. I’m no expert, but it seems like hiding the car could mean they wanted to cover up something more sinister. For those who know the area, is it a place that’s well-known for dumping vehicles, or does this seem out of character for vehicle-related crimes there? Would love to hear more thoughts about this angle.
