I've been following Arlene Mary Warren's case for a while now, and something that's always puzzled me is the timing of her son's report. Waiting three days to report her missing seems odd, especially given her need for medication. I understand she had a history of leaving unannounced, but with her bipolar disorder and the family's financial struggles, wouldn't he have been more concerned sooner? I'm wondering if anyone else thinks this delay might hint at something more complex going on in the family dynamics or if it's just consistent with past behaviors considering she usually came back? Just curious if anyone's looked into this angle or noticed something I've missed.
Does anyone else find it strange that Arlene Mary's son didn't notice her leave that night? I mean, it's not like Eureka Springs is a bustling metropolis where someone could easily slip away unnoticed. Plus, she left her medication behind, which you'd think would tip him off that something was wrong sooner rather than later. It's also curious that he waited three days to report her missing, especially given her mental health needs and the fact that she had a history of returning home. Could it be that he thought she'd just show up again? Or is there more to the story? The financial troubles and warrant for her arrest complicate things further, but none of it explains why there's been absolutely no trace of her all these years later. Thoughts?
