I can't stop thinking about how Phillip was just 16... the same age as my nephew. It's terrifying to imagine how one moment can flip the world upside down like that. I live just a few towns over, and it's unsettling to know this kind of violence can strike anywhere, without warning.
What really gets to me is how the family must feel, knowing that the shooter might have just been looking for someone else entirely. It's like their whole lives turned to chaos over a mistake. Can anyone imagine the frustration and helplessness they must be going through?
I hope that the reward leads to some answers soon. No family should have to live without closure, knowing that justice hasn't been served. For anyone local who might have info, please come forward.
