Has anyone else been puzzled by how quickly Shakara's story fell apart once police got involved? It's so unsettling to think about how she initially claimed to have given Lauryn to a woman without knowing her name or where she lived. This seems like such a critical red flag. Not to mention, why wasn't there any follow-up sooner if she was supposedly trying to help Lauryn's father by handing her over to his "friend"? Seems like there was a severe lack of scrutiny on part of the family and authorities initially. I can't stop thinking about how different this situation could’ve turned out with more immediate action or skepticism from Shakara's side. What do you guys think were the major signs that this story was fabricated from the start?
