I came across Loren Wayne Harvey Jr.'s case again, and something that's been bugging me is the discovery of the gun in his truck. Initially, when the vehicle was found, there was no mention of any firearm. It only came to light after the truck was towed back home. Could it have been overlooked initially, or is it possible that it was placed there afterwards? Either way, it seems strange for someone to leave a weapon behind if they were planning to disappear voluntarily or if there was foul play involved. Does anyone have more insight into whether there were any fingerprints or DNA on the gun, or if it was even looked into deeper after being found? It's another layer of this case that just doesn't add up for me.
