Was anyone else struck by John Skelton's story about Joann Taylor? I've been following this case, and it just doesn't sit right with me. Authorities couldn’t find any trace of her, and John’s sticking to his guns about her involvement. Makes me wonder if there's something deeper at play or if it was a calculated cover. Cell phone data showing he traveled to another state paints an eerie picture. I can only imagine what those poor boys went through. I hope we get some answers soon, especially with the parole hearing coming up. What do you all think? Is it genuinely possible there was a Joann Taylor, or is this just a smokescreen?

In looking into the Skelton brothers' case, something that’s always puzzled me is the origin of the name "Joann Taylor." John Skelton's mention of her seemed so specific, yet investigators never found evidence that she existed. Could she be a fabrication, a mix of real people he encountered, or is there a deeper reason he chose that particular name? Names sometimes hold significance or come from distant memories. Has anyone noticed if John ever referred to this name outside of this context, maybe before the boys went missing? It feels like there’s a missing link here, something tied to why he brought it up at all. If investigators could figure that out, it might unlock more about what really happened to those boys. Just a thought—has anyone come across anything similar in other cases?
