Has anyone else looked into the Carlbrook School where Forest Ferguson was last seen? I've read some discussions about how schools like these operate, and it makes me wonder about the environment there. Forest had already transferred from a similar facility in Utah before attending Carlbrook. Do you think these places have adequate measures for keeping track of students, especially those who are struggling? I can't help but wonder if the school's oversight or lack of security might have played a role in his ability to leave so easily. It seems like more insight into daily life at Carlbrook back then might shed some light on this case.
Hey everyone, I've been following the Forest Ferguson case for a while now, and something that's been puzzling me is the route he might have taken when he left the Carlbrook School. Given his possible destinations—Danville, VA, or Durham, NC—I'm curious what path he might have opted for if he was on foot or trying to hitch a ride. Is there any word on whether nearby roads or highways were checked extensively back when he first disappeared? Just trying to figure out if there might be a lead that's gone cold or if there's any chance he hitched a ride with someone passing through. It’s such a long time for there to be no real trace of him. If anyone has local knowledge or any insight on this aspect, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I've been following Forest Ferguson's case since I first heard about it, and something that just keeps sticking out to me is the choice of clothing he was wearing the night he disappeared. I know it might seem trivial, but he was wearing borrowed white Chuck Taylor sneakers. I can't help but wonder why he didn't have his own shoes or what prompted him to borrow someone else's. Could this indicate whether he was planning to be gone for a short time or a long time? Borrowing shoes isn’t usually something you’d do if you're planning on leaving for good. Did anyone at the school notice him already packing his things, or was this decision made more suddenly? These small details might offer us more insight into what his intentions were that night. If anyone has more context on this, it could be helpful in understanding his frame of mind.
