I came across Genaro's case and it's really been on my mind. Does anyone know if there were extreme weather conditions in Arizona around the time he went missing? I've read that harsh conditions can sometimes be a huge risk for people crossing the border, but I can't find any specific info for early January 2011. It seems like it would be easy to underestimate the desert. If the weather was rough back then, it might have played a part in what happened. Also, does anyone know if there were search efforts in areas known for having more dangerous conditions? Thanks.
