Has anyone looked into whether Michael Truong might have been using any online platforms or social media around the time of his disappearance? I know he vanished back in 2011, but even back then, people were connecting and making plans through social media, dating apps, or forums. Maybe there's a chance he met someone online before stopping in New Orleans? It might uncover a new lead or at least offer some context. Anyone familiar with the area recall any similar cases around the same time? I'd love any input or thoughts on this angle.

I was looking into Michael Truong's case, and something that's been puzzling me is why there isn't more CCTV footage or witness information from the casino. Harrah's is usually pretty good with having cameras all over the place, right? I've read cases where casinos have provided crucial leads because of their surveillance systems. It makes me wonder if the footage from the night he vanished was really looked over thoroughly or if maybe it didn't show anything useful. Casinos also usually have tons of people around, so you'd think someone might have seen or heard something. Anyone else have thoughts on this or remember anything from being in New Orleans around that time?

I was doing some reading on Michael Truong's case and got curious about something mentioned briefly. Does anyone know more about the decision to stop at Harrah's Casino specifically? I mean, was it a planned stop during their road trip or more of a spontaneous detour? A casino isn't your typical rest stop, so I wonder if there was a particular event or reason they went there. Maybe someone who was in the area at the time or knows the local scene could shed some light on whether anything unusual was happening that night at the casino. Sometimes these small details can piece together a bigger picture. Hoping the family gets the answers they need soon.
