Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the Samuel Turner case, and something's been nagging at me about the area where he was last seen. I’ve read that there’s a large tract of private land near the wooded area in Canby, Oregon. It got me wondering—has anyone heard if these private areas have been fully searched? I know these places can sometimes have hidden trails or features that aren't immediately obvious to searchers.
Also, does anyone know if trained search dogs have been used extensively in those wooded parts? In some cases, they can pick up on scents even if there's a lot of environmental interference. It’d be interesting to compare this with other search efforts in similar terrain.
Keeping Samuel and his family in my thoughts. Let’s hope there's some breakthrough soon. Anyone with more on-the-ground info?
Have any of you noticed the weather conditions around Canby on Halloween night? There was a lot of fog, which could have made it super easy for Samuel Turner to accidentally wander off the path near that wooded area. I’m wondering if search efforts have been hindered by this because it seems like a tough spot for a search in low visibility. Also, has anyone heard if they're using drones or thermal imaging technology in their search? It could definitely be beneficial given the terrain and current conditions. Hoping for the best and sending strength to everyone involved in the search efforts!
