Has anyone else noticed how odd it is that Raymond Willey moved to California right after Betty went missing? It's peculiar that he'd leave so suddenly, especially when he was living with her at the time. Moving across state lines seems like a big decision during such a critical period. Could it be he was running from something? With Betty’s reports of him being threatening and erratic, it just adds another layer of suspicion to the story. I wonder if more could have been done while he was still alive to find out what happened to Betty. It's so frustrating that her case has gone cold. What are your thoughts on his sudden relocation?

I came across something peculiar while looking into Betty Lou Tews' case. I'm curious if anyone else has thoughts on this: I read that after Betty vanished, Raymond Willey moved to California pretty quickly. Makes me wonder if he disconnected entirely from his past life or if he still had ties back in Oak Harbor that could offer clues. I know he didn't cooperate, but maybe someone he was in touch with might know something without even realizing it. It's odd that he made such a quick exit, and it doesn't seem like a coincidence. Does anyone have info on whether he maintained any connections to folks or places nearby, despite moving away? It seems like an angle worth exploring further.
