I’ve always found the Marvin Clark disappearance fascinating, especially given how it bridges the gap between early 20th-century detective work and modern forensic techniques. I can't help but wonder about the personal items found with the skeletal remains in 1986. What kind of belongings did they find alongside the remains, and could these items have held any significant clues that aren't obvious today? It's a mystery how a revolver and personal articles ended up there. Maybe someone on here has more info or insights on why the belongings didn’t seem to move the investigation forward. It's just all so perplexing, and I wish we knew more about the significance of those items.
I've always been fascinated with Marvin Alvin Clark's case, especially the bit about the skeletal remains found in 1986. Does anyone know if there were any specific details about the personal items found with the remains, besides the revolver? It’s puzzling how those items didn’t provide more clues about the identity. I wonder if there's a possibility those remains might belong to someone else entirely and the focus should have been on different leads. This case being one of the oldest still gives me chills. What do you all think about how a cold case team could approach this today, given all the advancements in forensic science?
I was revisiting Marvin Alvin Clark's case today and can't stop thinking about the stagecoach driver. Does anyone know if he was ever interviewed thoroughly back then, or if there's any record of what he might have said? It seems strange to me that Marvin was last seen boarding the stagecoach, but we don't have much info about who saw him or any more specifics of his journey that day. Was it common practice for stagecoach companies to keep passenger lists? These early details could hold some clues that were overlooked at the time. Any insights from other historic cases?
