Reading about Robert Wayne Linder's case really got me thinking about how the banking system worked back in 1969. With Robert withdrawing money for an apartment deposit on the day he went missing, it makes me wonder if there's a chance someone saw him there. I know banks have always had some level of security, even back then, like tellers or maybe even security cameras. Does anyone know if the authorities ever looked into this aspect? It seems like the bank might have been one of the last places he was seen, and whatever happened there could be a piece of the puzzle. If anyone has more info on how transactions were tracked back then or if there were protocols for reporting suspicious activities, it might shed some light on this part of the story.

Has anyone else come across any details about Robert Linder's financial situation on the day he vanished back in '69? It's odd to me that he withdrew money specifically for an apartment deposit. Were there any official interviews with his friends or family to confirm he was actually planning a move? Sometimes young people will just say they're doing one thing when they're actually planning another. It's been so many years, but maybe someone out there remembers something seemingly insignificant that could be the missing piece to this puzzle. If anyone has family or friends who were at DePaul University around that time, maybe they might recall conversations about him?
