I was researching the Agate-Crescent Beach area where Kevin and Mark disappeared and stumbled upon some interesting history about those old WWII bunkers. Given the time of their disappearance, it seems plausible they wanted to explore the bunkers like many young kids would. But something caught my eye: the bunkers are really isolated and partially hidden by dense vegetation. Could it be possible that they accidentally got lost or stuck somewhere nearby, and the search teams just couldn’t locate them? I know it's been decades, but maybe there are still unexplored paths or undiscovered spots around those bunkers. Also, has anyone looked into whether any local or unofficial guides might have been helping kids explore these areas back then? Just trying to think outside the box here. Any locals with knowledge of that area's history have any insights?
