Hey everyone, I've been following the Kenneth King Wilson case for a while now, and something that keeps bothering me is the location where his car was found—McCabe's Texaco station. Does anyone have any info on this place from the 70s? Was it known as a sketchy area, or did it have any incidents related around that time? It's just odd that his car was left there, and I'm wondering if it's significant or just a coincidence. Maybe someone local remembers something or their family has stories about the area. It's frustrating how little we know! Any thoughts or info would be appreciated!

Hey everyone, I’ve been reading up a lot on the Kenneth King Wilson case lately, and something just hits me about how his car was found. Why McCabe's Texaco station? Was it a place he frequented or just a convenient stop? It seems odd that his eyeglasses and the pool of blood were left where anyone could find them. Could it be that whoever was involved wanted the car to be discovered quickly? Maybe there was something they didn’t want us to find if they moved it elsewhere? It just makes me think that the location might be more significant than we realize. Anyone from Eugene have any thoughts or insights into the significance of this station back in the 70s?

Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into the disappearance of Kenneth King Wilson from 1973, and I came across something that really got me thinking. The fact that his eyeglasses were found by his disabled car at McCabe’s Texaco station seems really significant. Was he nearsighted, or did he perhaps struggle to see without them? I mean, it's bizarre to imagine him leaving them behind if he took them everywhere. Could he have been in a hurry, or was someone trying to make it look like he left on his own? It just seems strange that someone who needs glasses would leave without them. I'd love to hear others’ takes on what this could mean or how it might connect to the blood found at the scene. It feels like there could be clues here that are too easily overlooked.
