Has anyone ever looked into why Salie's case file supposedly disappeared? It's so frustrating when we hear about things like this. I mean, files don't just vanish into thin air, right? It makes me wonder if something more was going on behind the scenes. It's been such a long time since she went missing, and it seems like there should’ve been a lot more progress by now. I get that resources were different back in 1973, but come on, losing a case file is a pretty big deal! If anyone has any theories or insights on how or why that might have happened, I’d love to hear them. It's baffling and makes me question if every angle was pursued back then.
I was reading up on Salie Belle Maxi Signani's case, and I’m baffled by the fact that her case file was reportedly lost. How does something like this even happen? It seems like such a crucial oversight, especially with all the advancements in record-keeping that we take for granted today. This must have been incredibly frustrating for her family and friends at the time. It makes me wonder how many other cases have been set back by something similar. How do you all think this loss impacted the investigation into her disappearance? I’m curious if there are other cases out there that experienced this, and how those families coped with such a setback. If anyone has any thoughts or can share similar stories, it would be appreciated.
Has anyone looked into the possibility of Salie using another alias after her disappearance? Given that she was known to use different last names like "Bigelow" and "Gard," it doesn't seem far-fetched to think she might have adopted a new identity altogether. I wonder if the fact that her case file was mysteriously lost means there might be more to the story. Maybe someone wanted her to stay missing? It's also curious that she was living with another man right after her divorce. Could that have played a role somehow? I find it strange that after the case was reopened in 2003, there have been so few updates. It's like she vanished without a trace. Does anyone have any ideas on how records from back then could be dug up to find more clues?
