I've been following this case for a while now, and one thing that always strikes me is how little information there seems to be about potential suspects. From everything I've read, it seems like David and William were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's baffling to think that after all these years, no new evidence or potential leads have come to light. I can't even begin to imagine the lasting impact this has had on their families. It's hard to believe the killers have managed to avoid justice for so long. I always wonder if advances in forensic technology could offer any hope in breaking this case open. It just feels like there has to be something out there that was overlooked or that modern science could help with. What do you all think about the way cold cases are handled today versus back then?
I recently stumbled across the tragic case of David Lyman and William Mack Robertson, and it just took a piece of my heart. I can't stop thinking about William's family, knowing he was just starting out on his first night at the store. Can you imagine? It's his first shift, probably feeling a mix of nerves and excitement about the new job, and then this senseless act happens. I can only hope that all these years later, his loved ones have found some way to cope with their loss. It makes me wonder if there's a way we can breathe new life into this case and help Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department find some answers. Surely, there must be someone out there who knows something, even if it seems insignificant. Let's not let the memory of David and William fade away; they deserve justice and peace for their families. Anyone else got thoughts on how we can bring attention back to their story?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been revisiting the 1983 case of David Michael Lyman and William Mack Robertson, and there's something that's been sticking with me. It's been over 40 years, and we still don't have answers for their families. I can't even begin to imagine the frustration and pain they must feel, not knowing who took their loved ones from them in such a violent way.
Something that's bothered me is the lack of details about what exactly happened that night. It's strange that there weren’t any witnesses coming forward, considering the incident took place during operating hours at the store. I wonder if there's someone out there who is afraid to speak up due to fear or maybe even guilt. It's crucial that anyone with information, no matter how small it may seem, reaches out to law enforcement. Every piece could potentially fit a larger puzzle and bring some measure of justice and closure to the families involved.
What do you all think about this lack of witnesses or information? Do you think it’s possible that someone saw something and didn’t realize its importance? Let’s keep discussing and maybe inspire someone to share something they’ve been holding onto for years.
Thanks for reading, hoping we can help make a difference.
