I’ve been thinking about the role that Jay Allen Wood’s work environment might have played in this tragic event. Working as an assistant manager at a restaurant like Steak and Ale likely came with its own set of challenges and risks, including late hours and handling cash, which could make someone a target. It makes me wonder whether there were any security measures in place at that time, like surveillance cameras or security guards, particularly given the time period. Did the company do enough to protect their employees back then? It’s such an awful thought to imagine that this hardworking young man was just doing his job when his life was taken in such a brutal manner. I can't help but feel for his wife, too, who had the horrible experience of finding him that night. It’s crucial to support any efforts to keep pushing for more answers. Hopefully, someone out there holds a key piece of information that can finally bring justice to Jay and peace to everyone who cared about him.
