I’ve been going through some old news articles and came across a detail that I hadn't previously noticed about Deborah Owens’ case. It seems there was a significant search effort around Lake Oroville shortly after her disappearance. Does anyone here know if there was any specific reason for that area being of interest? Were there any tips that led investigators to focus there, or was it just a proximity thing because of where she lived? Also, doesn't it seem odd that no significant evidence turned up near the lake given the intensity of the search efforts? Just trying to piece things together with the hope that maybe someone out there remembers something that could aid the investigation.
