I’ve been diving deep into the disappearance of Debra Vowell and can’t stop thinking about that mysterious phone call to her grandfather. The fact he believed it was Debra calling after two years is so chilling. Was it really her, or someone trying to manipulate the family? I mean, after all that time, why reach out only to disconnect so quickly? What puzzles me is why there's no follow-up call or any further communication. It makes me wonder if there was a plan for Debra to leave whatever situation she was in and if something went terribly wrong. Also, considering the involvement of a drug smuggling ring, it could have been a warning or even a distraction to steer the investigation off course. Anyone else have thoughts on possible reasons behind that call?
Has anyone else thought about the timing of the phone call Debra's grandfather received? It just seems so strange that it happened two years after she went missing. If it really was her, where was she calling from and why the delay? Also, the fact that she mentioned trying to get to California makes me wonder if she was somewhere along the coast or even farther away, maybe held against her will or caught up in whatever illegal activities the *Armistice* was involved in. There’s just so much mystery around this phone call and what happened on that boat. Would love to hear more theories or insights if anyone's got them!
