I was just reading through the details about Jesse Skinner's case, and something stood out to me - the cancellation of the Purple Alert. I know Purple Alerts have specific criteria, especially focusing on cognitive or developmental disabilities. Does anyone know if alerts like these are canceled due to new information, or could it be something procedural? It's so puzzling that there's been no update since the alert was canceled. I hope the Delray Beach PD is still actively working on this. If anyone has had experience following similar cases, I'd love to hear your thoughts on how these situations usually develop after an alert is called off.
I’ve been closely following Jesse Skinner’s case since the news broke out. What truly puzzles me is the cancellation of the Purple Alert. I understand these alerts are issued for adults with cognitive challenges, but the lack of information after its cancellation is really perplexing. Does this usually mean they’ve found him safe, or could there be another reason for canceling it so abruptly? If anyone has experience with how these Purple Alerts work in Florida, your insight would be appreciated. It’s unsettling not knowing what led to the decision, and I hope there’s a positive reason behind it.
