Hi everyone.
I've been following the case of Sonja Spruill Day, and something that keeps puzzling me is the state in which her son and his friends found the apartment. It's unimaginable what those kids must have gone through walking into such a situation. But here's what's been on my mind: How did the culprit get out, especially since the apartment was locked from either the inside or with a dead-bolt key from the outside? This kind of detail is what makes me think it had to be someone she knew or at least had access. It just feels so unsettling to think the killer could have been someone close enough to know how to lock up without leaving a trace of forced entry.
Does anyone else have any thoughts on the lock situation or access to the apartment? It's genuinely distressing to think that someone capable of such violence might have known her. My heart goes out to Sonja's son and her family who have lived with this for so many years.
I've been thinking about the brave actions of Sonja's son. It's unimaginable to think about an 11-year-old climbing up to the balcony without knowing what he would find inside. I can't help but wish there had been a more secure way for him to get inside or some other resource he could have turned to. It's haunting to consider what kind of strength it must have taken for him to climb up there, only to be met with such a traumatic scene. My heart goes out to him and his friends who experienced this deeply disturbing moment at such a young age. I wonder how he and his friends have been since then. It's essential that people come together with any information that might bring some relief and justice to Sonja's family.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the Sonja Spruill Day case, and there's an aspect that's been puzzling me. Since her apartment was locked from the inside or with a deadbolt key, it seems unlikely that it was a random act. It almost feels like the person responsible knew how to navigate getting in and out without raising suspicions. The fact that her son had to enter through the balcony door because he didn’t have a key makes me wonder if someone she knew might have been involved, possibly someone she trusted enough to let in.
Also, considering the tragic murder of her boyfriend the previous year, I can't help but think if there's any connection. Could this be more than just a coincidence? It’s hard to imagine what her family, especially her son, must be going through dealing with two devastating losses in such a short period. My thoughts are with them, and I truly hope that they get the answers and justice they need. If anyone has more insights or theories about this case, would love to hear your thoughts. It’s been way too long without resolution.
Stay safe!
