Hey everyone,
I’ve been doing some reading on the tragic case of Kathi Goff Kennedy and my heart goes out to her family, especially her two young daughters. Given how fresh they were to the apartment complex, it makes one wonder about neighbors or anyone who might have observed something unusual in those three weeks. How does an entire community not notice anything suspicious given the brutality of the crime? They had to have been in transition, just trying to settle in, and it's devastating to think such a horrific act could happen during a time that probably should have been about new beginnings.
That poor mom who discovered her daughter...I can't even begin to imagine the shock and grief she must have felt. It’s so upsetting knowing the children were in the apartment the entire time, left untouched but undoubtedly marked by the absence of their mother.
Does anyone know if there were any witnesses, or have there been any publicized suspects over the years? I read that the husband was cleared, but has there been much discussion about any others who were in the area? It's been such a long time, but I'm hoping this case doesn't just gather dust.
