Did anyone else notice that Raymond was last seen wearing a bright green t-shirt? I’ve always thought that’s such a unique clothing choice. Wouldn't it have stood out if he was walking around San Francisco? I wonder if that might jog someone’s memory or lead to a sighting that hasn't been reported yet. It's so frustrating that there are no leads, especially considering it's such a prominent city with a lot of pedestrian traffic. Hoping the SFPD or maybe even amateur sleuths can shine a light on any overlooked details. Let’s keep this discussion going and perhaps we might come across another angle that hasn’t been explored.
I've been digging into Raymond Guy Kung's case, and something that puzzles me is how little coverage it got at the time. San Francisco in the early '80s was a bustling place, and yet there's barely any media mention of his disappearance. It's almost like it fell through the cracks. Was there another big news story around then that overshadowed missing persons cases? Or maybe it's just a matter of not having enough initial details to spark more public interest? Either way, it feels like more awareness from the start could've made a difference in Raymond's case. What are some other cases you’ve seen where media coverage—or lack thereof—had an impact?
